Why we built it
The signals that separate a genuine opportunity from a trap are all out in the open: a company’s domain history, whether the role exists on its own hiring system, whether the poster really works there, where else the listing appears, and the patterns every scam repeats. They’re just scattered, and checking them by hand takes longer than the application itself.
So we built the check. UnitPulse pulls those signals together into one score in seconds, and shows the evidence behind every point — because a score that shapes someone’s livelihood should be something you can argue with.
The same evidence helps the people on the other side of the application, too: a recruiter or an agency can check that an employer is real and a role is really open before putting a candidate forward.

Deterministic, not AI
Fixed signals with fixed weights and a versioned formula. The same job always gets the same score, and we can explain every point of it.
Every point has a source
A registry record, a careers board, the quoted line from the listing. If we can’t show where a finding came from, we don’t show the finding.
Only the job you analyze
The extension reads the posting you opened and, when you run an analysis, the hiring company’s page behind it. Never your messages, connections, other people’s profiles or your browsing. Nothing runs on its own.
Your data isn’t the product
No selling data, no advertising trackers, no AI trained on your data. Delete your account and it’s gone.
