1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and UnitPulse (641, Ravi Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, Pakistan) (“UnitPulse”, “we”, “us”), covering your access to and use of the UnitPulse website, web app and browser extension (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you accept them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data and forms part of this agreement.

2. What UnitPulse is — and isn’t

UnitPulse produces an informational authenticity score and supporting evidence about job postings, the companies and people behind them, and, if you upload a resume, how well it matches a role. Scores describe likelihood based on signals available at the time. They are not statements of fact about any company or person, not a background check, not a guarantee, and not professional, legal, financial or employment advice.

Sources can be incomplete or out of date, a legitimate employer can score low, and a well-made fake can score higher than it deserves. Use your own judgment before applying to a role, contacting a poster, engaging a client or making any hiring decision. You are responsible for your decisions and for anything you do with what the Service shows you.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
• You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract where you live.
• Individual plans are for one person. Sharing one account among several people isn’t allowed — Enterprise exists for teams and includes seats.

4. Plans, analysis credits and platform slots

• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of full analyses and a number of active job platforms. Every plan can store the same number of uploaded resumes. Current limits are on the pricing page.
• Instant on-page badges and ATS matches don’t use credits. A full analysis uses one credit. Re-checking the same posting within 7 days reuses the cached result and doesn’t charge you again.
• Allowances reset each billing cycle and don’t roll over. Unused credits have no cash value.
• You can swap an unused platform any time. A platform you’ve already analyzed a job on this cycle stays active until renewal, so the limit can’t be worked around by rotating platforms.
• Enterprise includes every supported platform, seats sized to your team and pooled analyses. Its price and seat count are agreed with you in writing, and it’s billed through Creem like every other paid plan.
• We may change plan limits, and if a change reduces what your plan includes we’ll tell you before it applies to you.

5. Billing, renewal, cancellation and refunds

• Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew automatically until you cancel. Current prices are $14 a month for Basic and $25 a month for Professional, or 15% less when billed annually ($142.80 and $255 a year). Enterprise is priced per agreement and paid through the sameCreem checkout.
• Paid plans are sold to you by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), our merchant of record. Creem is the seller on your receipt, processes the payment, and handles sales tax, VAT, invoices and refunds. Your purchase is also subject to Creem’s Buyer Terms, shown at checkout. We don’t see or store your card details.
• You can cancel or downgrade at any time from the billing page in the app or the Creem billing portal it links to. It takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for; until then your plan continues. After that, platforms above the new limits may be deactivated, but nothing is deleted.
• Refunds: if you’re not satisfied, email contact@unitpulse.io within 14 days of a charge and we’ll refund that charge in full. After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may decline a refund where refunds are being requested repeatedly on the same account. Refunds are paid through Creem, which may also refund a charge itself, for example to settle a dispute. Full policy: Refund Policy.
• Prices exclude taxes, which may be added where required. We’ll give notice before any price change affects you.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Resell the Service, or scrape or bulk-export its outputs, without our written permission.
• Use the Service, or anything it surfaces, to harass, defame, discriminate against, threaten or unlawfully target any person or company. Reports show likelihood and evidence, never accusations, and shouldn’t be presented as verdicts.
• Use contact details shown in a report for anything other than applying for that job, or send unsolicited bulk messages to anyone named in a report.
• Attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service’s security, rate limits or usage limits.
• Share an individual account, or resell seats you were allocated.
• Upload a CV or personal data you don’t have the right to provide to us.
• Use the Service in a way that breaks a job platform’s own terms, or to automate activity on any platform.

7. Your content

You keep all rights in what you give us, including your CVs, the job postings you submit and your feedback. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content for the purpose of providing the Service to you — for example, parsing a CV to calculate your ATS match, or storing a report so you can revisit it.

If you upload someone else’s CV — for example as a recruiter — you confirm you have the right to do so and that you’ll handle their data lawfully. You remain the controller of that person’s data toward them.

When you use UnitPulse through Claude or another AI assistant, the resume tools (CV match and proposal facts) are for your own resumes only. Don’t use them to screen, rank or assess other people.

8. Third-party platforms and connections

• UnitPulse isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by LinkedIn, Indeed, Upwork or any other platform. Their names and marks belong to them and are used only to describe where the Service works.
• Your use of those platforms remains governed by their own terms, which you’re responsible for following.
• When you run an analysis on LinkedIn, the extension reads the hiring company’s LinkedIn page using your own signed-in session, and the public version of the job page, as described in our Privacy Policy. It reads only what LinkedIn shows you, once per analysis you start, never opens anyone’s profile, and never posts, applies or messages for you.
• If you connect your own Upwork developer application, you do so under your agreement with Upwork, including its API terms and rate limits.
• Reports may link to third-party sources. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content or accuracy.

9. Beta and changing features

Some platforms and features are marked beta. They may be incomplete, change or be withdrawn, and their results may be less reliable. We may also add, change or remove features as the product develops.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, scoring methodology, signal design, content and branding — belongs to UnitPulse and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use it under these Terms. If you send us ideas or feedback about the Service, we may use them without obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that scores or evidence will be accurate, complete, current or uninterrupted, or that a job we score highly is genuine or that one we score low is not. Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain exclusions, in which case they don’t apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnitPulse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service — including any loss from relying on a score, or from applying to, engaging or avoiding any job, poster, client or company.

Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

13. Indemnity

You’ll defend and indemnify UnitPulse against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, your breach of a third party’s rights (including data protection and anti-spam laws), or content you upload.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile in the web app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if your use risks harm to others or to the Service, or if we’re required to by law. Where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll tell you first. If we terminate your account without cause, we’ll refund the unused portion of any prepaid period.

What survives

Sections on your content, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity continue to apply after your account ends.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service develops. We’ll revise the “last updated” date, and for material changes we’ll give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms; if you don’t, you can cancel.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. This doesn’t take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there.
