Affiliate Program Terms

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and UnitPulse (641, Ravi Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore, Pakistan) (“UnitPulse”, “we”, “us”). You accept them when you join the program in the app. If you don’t agree, don’t join. You can leave at any time by telling us, and you stop earning on new referrals from that point.

2. Joining

• Anyone with a UnitPulse account who is signed in can join. It is free.
• You are approved automatically once you accept these terms, and you get your own referral link and code.
• You can change your code once. Links with your old code may stop working after a change, so update anywhere you have shared them.
• You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and able to receive payments.
• One affiliate account per person.

3. How referrals are tracked

• When someone opens your referral link, we store a cookie on app.unitpulse.io that lasts 60 days. It holds a click id only. Our Privacy Policy explains what we record about each click.
• The first referral link a person opens is the one that counts. Opening a second affiliate’s link later doesn’t replace it.
• The referral is locked to your account when your friend signs up. It can’t be moved to someone else later.
• Tracking needs the cookie to still be there when your friend signs up, on the same browser. If they clear their cookies, use another device or block cookies, the referral may not be recorded. If you think a referral was missed, contact us within 14 days of your friend’s signup and we’ll look at it. We decide those cases, and we can’t promise to add one.

4. What earns commission

You earn 20% of each payment your referred friend makes for a Basic or Professional plan, monthly or yearly, during the 12 months starting from their first payment. After that, their payments no longer earn commission. A referral only counts if all of these are true:

• Your friend is a brand-new UnitPulse account, created after opening your link.
• The account has never paid for UnitPulse before.
• Your friend starts paying within 12 months of signing up.
• The account isn’t yours, and isn’t someone acting for you.

Enterprise plans are quoted and sold by our team, so they don’t earn commission. Your friend pays the normal price. There is no perk or discount for them. The rate that applies to a referral is the rate in place when your friend signed up.

Commission is worked out on what your friend actually paid after any discount and before sales tax or VAT, in US dollars. Charges for upgrading to a higher plan count as payments.

Customer payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Affiliate commissions and payouts are made by UnitPulse itself, not by Creem.

5. Hold and reversals

• Each commission is pending for 30 days after the payment it comes from. Customers can ask for a refund for 14 days after a charge, and the hold covers that time. After the hold, the commission becomes available.
• If a payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on it is reversed. Disputes can arrive after the hold has ended, so a reversal can happen after a commission became available.
• If a reversed commission was already paid out to you, the amount comes off your next payout. If your balance goes below zero, later commissions cover it first.
• If several payments from your referrals are disputed, we may pause your account while we review it.

6. Payouts and minimum

• We send payouts once a month, by hand, to every affiliate with $25 or more available. Payouts are in US dollars.
• A balance under $25 rolls over to the next month.
• You can be paid by Payoneer, USDC or bank transfer. Fees charged by your bank or payment provider are yours.
• We review your first payout, and any payout over $200, before sending it. That can delay it to the next monthly run.
• We can’t send a payout until you have added and confirmed your payout details.

7. Payout details and verification

• You add your payout details in the app. We store them encrypted and only ever show you a masked summary.
• Adding or changing payout details needs a code we send to your account email. This stops anyone who gets into your account from sending your money somewhere else.
• You are responsible for giving correct details. We aren’t liable for a payout sent to details you gave us that turn out to be wrong.
• We may ask you to confirm your identity or your payout details before paying you.

8. Taxes and independence

You take part as an independent affiliate. You are not our employee, agent, partner or representative, and you can’t make promises or sign anything on our behalf. You are responsible for reporting and paying any tax on what you earn. We may ask for tax information if the law requires it.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Refer yourself, or create or use accounts to earn commission on your own payments.
• Run paid ads on the UnitPulse name. That includes bidding on “UnitPulse” or similar terms in search ads, and running any ad that links straight to your referral link.
• Send spam: unsolicited bulk email, messages or comments, or posting your link where it isn’t allowed.
• Make promises UnitPulse doesn’t make, such as guaranteed jobs, guaranteed accuracy, discounts or features that don’t exist.
• Pretend to be UnitPulse, or use our name, logo or a lookalike domain in a way that suggests you are us.
• Use cookie stuffing, hidden links, bots, incentives for clicks or any other way of faking referrals.

10. Suspension

If you break these terms, we may suspend your affiliate account. Any commissions not yet paid out are then cancelled, and we may also close your link. Where it’s reasonable to do so, we’ll tell you why. Suspension from the affiliate program doesn’t by itself close your UnitPulse account, which stays covered by our Terms & Conditions.

11. Changes and ending the program

• We can change these terms or the program, including the commission rate, with notice in the app or by email.
• A change to the rate applies to new referrals only. Friends you already referred keep the rate they had.
• We can end the program with notice. Commissions you have already earned, pending and available, are still paid under these terms, unless you broke the rules.
• We keep click records for 90 days, then delete them. Referral and commission records are kept as long as needed to pay you and for our accounts.
